Manual of AVSHD 709 Disc Calibration Patterns -4- Flashing Color
You can use this pattern to set color and tint controls with a blue filter. If your display is one of the few that includes a blue only mode, it can be used in place of a blue filter. A blue mode on the TV would often be more accurate than using a filter. Different ways to obtain color filters include ordering the THX Glasses, purchasing Lee Filters (#71, #106, #139), or obtaining another calibration disc that includes filters.
